Go down the Nanshan Mountain (easier)→ Start from Qianqu Road(前驱路)

Huangge Trail

This ancient trail serves as a pathway for hiking up and down the mountain. Known as the “Silk Road of Chongqing,” it has been a vital route for merchants since thousands of years ago. Lined with lush trees, it creates a fairy – tale – like atmosphere. Strolling along the trail, you can leisurely breathe in the fresh oxygen of nature, and escaping the hustle and bustle of the city.

Huangjueya Street

A charming town nestled on the mountainside. Along the edge of the hill, there are numerous teahouses offering a breathtaking view of the verdant mountains. You can take a seat, savor a cup of tea, and soak in the serene ambiance.

Tips

Bring your own water as there are no obvious water-selling points on the Huangge Trail.
-Avoid visiting during rainy days as the path can be slippery and unsafe.
